A Light Shines in the Darkness

The world has gotten smaller and the darkness, deeper. Yet there is hope.

Strife and hatred have increased, yet peace stands by.

Confusion is a mist that lurks, yet one bright star shines to point the way home.

Christ is home.

Make no mistake, the evil one tells a tale of doom.

And doom, is sure, for those who turn their hearts his way.

But, oh the joy for those who see and believe,

Messiah has come, wrapped in swaddling clothes

Born of a virgin, laying in a manger.

Piercing through the darkness is the Light of Life.

And that light is the life of men.

He is here.

Living.

The Consolation of Isreal.

The Desire of Nations.

Jesus Christ!

Raise a voice of praise and gratitude this season. God had a plan and that plan became flesh and walked among us. Who is now seated at the right hand of God, the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us and will one day come to usher us into His heavenly kingdom, the bosom of the Father.

Merry Christmas!
